PLEATED SKIRT

Landscape of trees.Architectural structures.Historical landmarks.Natural harbor. My eyes is filled with excitement as I lurk in silence, thinking if I could stop the vehicle and run into the spots I have been eyeing for quite sometime ever since I started blogging. But I didn't bring my camera so I just crossed out the S-H-O-O-T above my head and settled in sightseeing.Sigh.

So how come I have photos here? Thanks to Sam for bringing her camera.

While waiting for our lunch to be served, Sam and I sneaked outside the restaurant and took a snaps of few pictures along the natural harbor of Manila Bay.

ABOUT THE LOOK
Some women might feel uncomfortable in wearing pleated skirt because it tends to add a little volume on the waist or hips. However, one way to balance the fullness of the skirt is to pair it with a top that has a lesser volume like fitted top or/and a tailored blazer.

As guided by the  trick on how to wear a pleated skirt without looking too bulky, I paired the gray skirt with a black fitted top. I only added a red slim belt (because thick belt will make me look shorter) and a gold geometric earrings to get that simple vintage appeal appropriate as an office attire.
