DREAM CLOSET

My closet is in a pandemonium state right now - struggling for a breathing space it enjoys once in a while. Seeing all these things inside my closet felt like everything is in chaos. I see clothes fell on the floor, pleading for its freedom from airless space. Hoarding too much clothes at a minimal space become my habit for so many years and its getting worst than I could have imagined. I need a lifetime daily dose of organizing pills.

I get inspired searching for a walk-in closet.I imagined myself looking through the freshly painted room with the much needed space I am longing for. I pulled the quirkiest knob I see -- feeling giddy looking at my clothes, shoes and accessories arranged beautifully.  Sigh. I dream of having them in the near future and share it with my two boys.

I know that organizing things on premium sized space may take a lot of effort and creativity. I am not creative. But I do exert effort. Effort on a daily basis may be enough to keep me and my closet manageable. While there will be a time in my life that I will still go back to the bad habit from time to time, at least, the habit of effort is already in my bloodstream and will take charge of anything messy. Somehow, you may think that I just need a self- discipline and housekeeping skills to be organize.Yeah, I agree. But I need a little boost and remind myself all the time that I don't have any reason to mess around ;)

BEHIND THAT SMILE

These photos where taken when I am about to hear tribulations from a soul whose happiness is as shallow as mine. Judging a person from how you see them laugh on petty things or how they make people happy is not always a "what you see is what you get" kind of thing. You have to knock on someone's heart to see what's really inside of them. Once they let you in, you might be surprised on how they manage to put laughter onto their faces; how they seek refuge by putting smile on people's faces; how they seemed so invincible like no one can ever put their souls down. The truth is what you see with your eyes is just purely superficial. You can never tell that their heart is already hurting, bleeding and dying in pain until you let them speak their heart out. Just listen. You'll help millions of souls even without talking.

Setting aside the emotional thoughts above, pairing a basic white top with anything printed will always look perfectly. It is my first time to wear a printed cotton pants which I thought looked like a pajama.I'm glad it didn't when it is worn.

I can't resist this diamond hook earrings even it looked like a piece of aluminum dangling in my ears.

I was about to end this blog when I suddenly remembered my blog post about "which color best describe you?". I checked on the meaning of white and thought that I have picked the relevant color for this one-on-one conversation with a lonesome person. May she finds ways to start a fresh beginning and clear clutter and obstacles away as she goes on with the next day challenge of life. Chin up, girl!

I am baffled at the fact that at my age now, my love for GOLD and ORANGE is at the highest level. How ironic that these are the colors I hated when I still in my younger years. They looked old and a show-off to me. As  I grew older, my perspective in life changes and so as my favorite color, I suppose. I started doing things that I haven't done when I was young and single (Thank you discount online sites). My desire to make things happen becomes so evident especially when I got married. The desire, for example, to build a dream house, not for me, but for a young family my husband and I have started two years ago, is one of the things I am pushing to happen. That dream have emerged from the past, when I saw in my mother's eyes the yearning to own something her children might enjoy when she's gone. Before she took her last breath in 2007, she was able to pass the ball of her dreams to me and my siblings.

I have been braving both sides of the court in brisk jog until I tripped into the so-called life imperfections.Life is hard, I agree. We all wanted our life to go smoothly as we want it to be. However, disappointments along the way is inevitable. Life maybe difficult to handle but it pays off all the blood and sweat when you learn how to live your life even in just bread and water. When you still manage to crack a joke and put a smile in your face. I remembered my workmate once told me, which until now was stucked in my eardrums, "bringing up your own family is so tough that even an out of stock pantry supplies becomes so problematic." I got it. Life may become so stressful since you have to manage even the very small details of it. But that's how it is.

Life is so beautiful. Let's make life colorful by being positive and happy at all times. Personally, I think WHITE is the best primer of life.As we go on in our lives, a splash of all the colors would be great to balance everything. Well, that sounds good. A very tough one!

What are you wearing today? Did it reflect your mood and or emotions today? What's your favorite colors? Can you tell me if those color meanings listed above, to some extent, hits you on the spot?

FRESH START, NEW HAIR

Hi!!! How are you? Finally, I'm back! with a new haircut :)

I was chained in my chair for a month (!) to finish my month-long overdue documents.  It's crazy how things got complicated because of uncontrollable downbeat forces: abandoned post, the President's "teka teka, nagmamadali, nagmamadali? may lakad may lakad???" mode, lightning fast mid-year government reforms, impractical deadlines, feeble internal system, waiting-in-vain scenarios, and cluttered brains cells, among others. Well, the problem is ME—letting these negativities affect me. In the end, I had sky-high anxieties, a hot temper, extreme laziness, constant migraines, and hair loss. It came to a point when Mr. Patience screamed its lungs out as Mr. Tension hung on my hair like Tarzan in great triumph. To end this up, I chopped my hair short. What's the connection?.It's just like eating chocolates when one's feeling down. A process when one needs to do "something" to relieve oneself from stress and cope up with the demanding situations. In my case, a sign of frustration wanting for a CHANGE.

I remembered my officemate says in facebook -- "Para maka move-on, dapat new shoes". I totally agree! A new haircut with a new pair of shoes.Sounds good to me. Hihi.

The only thing that concerns me now is: How to grow back my hair faster? hahaha. I just miss her :(

Have a great hair day :)
